Description

This play tells the story of a Mexican-American girl and her deceased uncle who teaches her the beauty of the Mexican Day of the Dead tradition. Inspired by the engravings of Jose Guadalupe Posada, this performance utilizes masks, movement, physical comedy, and projections of visual art.

Cancellation Policy: All residencies and touring performances can be rescheduled with Cara Mía. However, in the case that a Write On! residency cannot be rescheduled, it can be canceled up to a week (seven days) before the agreed start date. After a week from the start date until the start date, Cara Mía requires half of the payment for Write On! in the case of a cancellation. After the start date, Cara Mía requires full payment for Write On! residency. Touring shows can be canceled a week (seven days) before performance. After a week before performance date, Cara Mía requires full payment for a cancellation. Field trip performances to Cara Mía shows are non-refundable regardless of circumstances such as bad weather, difficulty with transportation or scheduling difficulties.
