Collection Tours - Field Trip

Located in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, the Nasher Sculpture Center houses one of the finest collections of modern and contemporary sculpture including masterpieces by Calder, Giacometti, Hepworth, Matisse, Miro, Moore, Picasso and Rodin. The Center features a 55,000 square foot building and a 1.5 acre sculpture garden. The Center offers two types of visits. Docent-guided tours include an overview of the collection, including 5-6 stops looking closely at sculptures, discussing artists, and placing the works of art in historical context. Docent guided tours take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 am and 11 am. Self-guided vists can be booked throughout the week. Tours are open to all disciplines.

Docent guided tours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting times at 10:00am and 11:00am. Self-guided visits: Tuesdays-Fridays beginning at 11:00 a.m.
All students and required chaperones are admitted free if visit is booked in advance. Advance reservation required.
Groups (including chaperones) must not be larger than 60 persons. Chaperone Requirements: 1st-8th: 1 chaperone per 5 students, 9th-12th: 1 chaperone per 10 students. Visit should not be considered booked until you have contacted the Nasher Sculpture Center and an email confirmation has been received.
